Privacy Policy

Card Cat makes business cards on your iPhone or iPad. We don't collect any data from the app.

Overview

This policy covers the Card Cat app, made by IYIO ("we", "our", or "us"). On the App Store, Card Cat's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

  • No account: there's no sign-in and nothing to register.
  • No analytics, tracking or ads: the app has no third-party SDKs.
  • No networking: the app doesn't send your details, logo or cards anywhere, and doesn't sync them to iCloud. They leave your device only when you choose to print, share or save them.

Your Logo: Only the Picture You Pick

Card Cat never reads your photo library.

  • Photo library: you pick a logo with the system photo picker. The app gets only that picture and has no access to the rest of your library.
  • Clean background (Pro): works on that picture on your device.

Your Cards

  • Stored: your cards (details, design and logo) are kept in the app's own storage on your device. Nothing syncs. You can delete each card in My Cards.
  • QR codes: drawn and test-scanned on your device. A web address in a QR code is printed for other people to scan with their own phones; the app never opens it.
  • Pro: a one-time purchase through Apple's StoreKit. The app checks your purchase on your device, and we receive no purchase data.

Printing, Sharing and Saving

Your cards leave the app only when you tap one of these:

  • Print: AirPrint sends the sheet to the printer you pick.
  • Share: the system share sheet sends the print sheet PDF, the print-shop PDF, the card image or the contact file (.vcf) to the app or person you choose. Files carry your name as the title and no app credit.
  • Save to Photos: the app asks for add-only access. It can add your card to Photos, but it can't see your library.
  • Feedback: "Report a problem" and "Suggest an idea" in About open your own mail app. Nothing is sent unless you send it.

Purchases

Card Cat Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.

Changes to This Policy

If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
