Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Care Cat app, made by IYIO ("we", "our", or "us"), and both of its modes, Plants and Pets. On the App Store, Care Cat's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

• No account: there's no sign-in and nothing to register.
• No analytics, tracking or ads: the app has no third-party SDKs.
• No networking: the app doesn't send your plants, pets, records, photos or phone numbers anywhere. The sitter sheets and a pet's history leave your device only when you print or share them.
• One App Store lookup: when you open "More from the Cat family", the app asks Apple's public App Store which Cat apps are available. It sends only the Cat apps' App Store numbers and your store's two-letter country code, with no cookies or identifiers, and nothing about you, your plants or your pets.

• Plants, pets, schedules, records and the care log: stored in the app's own storage on your device. They're part of your normal device backup, like any app's documents. We don't sync or copy them anywhere.
• Your own words: vaccines, vet visits and medicines are what you type. Care Cat doesn't suggest doses or schedules and gives no plant-care, health or medicine advice.
• Vet phone numbers and the "call…" line: typed by you, kept on your device, and printed on the pet-sitter sheet. They leave your device only when you print or share that sheet.
• Photos: a plant's or pet's photo, and with Pro the document photos on a pet's record, kept in the app's storage. You pick them with the system photo picker, so the app never sees the rest of your library, or take one with the camera when you tap Take a photo on a pet's record. The camera is asked for only then.
• Morning reminders: notifications scheduled on your device, after you allow them, one for each mode. They go through no server.
• Keeping: everything stays until you delete it. Deleting a plant or a pet deletes its schedule, records and photos too. If Pro is ever lost, nothing you made is removed.

• Pro: an optional one-time in-app purchase through Apple's StoreKit. It adds extras to Pets only. Apple processes the payment, the app checks your purchase on your device, and we receive no purchase data.

Your data leaves the app only when you tap one of these on a sitter sheet or a pet's history:

• Print: sent with AirPrint to the printer you choose.
• Share: a PDF sent with the system share sheet to the app or person you choose.

Each mode’s reminder hour, the sitter-sheet notes and days, the call line and the mode you picked are stored on your device. They leave it only when you print or share a sitter sheet.

Care Cat Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.

If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
