Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Front Desk Cat app, made by IYIO ("we", "our", or "us"). On the App Store, Front Desk Cat's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

• No account: there's no sign-in to the app and nothing to register.
• No analytics, tracking or ads: the app has no third-party SDKs.
• No networking: no job in the app sends anything anywhere. The people who sign in, wait, sign a waiver or claim a found item are your own records, kept on your device.

• Sign-ins, the waitlist and found items: stored in the app's own storage on your device. Nothing syncs. They're part of your normal device backup, like any app's documents.
• Signed waivers: stored in their own file in the app's storage on your device. A waiver is a record that someone agreed to your form, not advice about the law.
• Typed in on the device: by you or by the person at the front desk. The app never reads your contacts.
• Guest screens: show no one else's name. The one exception is your choice: a Waitlist setting, off until you turn it on, shows first names on the waitlist's board.
• Keeping: sign-ins stay until you delete them, or until the book keeps only the last 30 days, 90 days or year, if you pick that.

• Camera: asked only the first time you tap Take photo for a found item. Choose photo uses the system photo picker, so the app never sees the rest of your library.
• Face ID: asked only when you leave Waivers' guest screen, to check it's you.

• Pro: an optional one-time in-app purchase through Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment, the app checks your purchase on your device, and we receive no purchase data.

Your data leaves the app only when you tap one of these:

• Print: sent with AirPrint to the printer you choose.
• Share: a PDF or CSV sent with the system share sheet to the app or person you choose.
• Text: the waitlist opens the system Messages composer with the guest's number and a message filled in. Nothing is sent until you tap Send.

The paper size, the front-desk code, your logo and each job's settings are stored on your device.

Front Desk Cat Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.

If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
