Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Hours Cat app and its widgets, made by IYIO ("we", "our", or "us"). On the App Store, Hours Cat's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

• No account: there's no sign-in. The worker name on your timesheets is an optional field, stored on your device.
• No analytics, tracking or ads: the app has no third-party SDKs.
• No networking for your hours: your shifts, breaks, notes and jobs stay on your device. They leave it only when you choose to share, print or bill them.
• One App Store lookup: when you open "More from the Cat family", the app asks Apple's public App Store which Cat apps are available. It sends only the Cat apps' App Store numbers and your store's two-letter country code, with no cookies or identifiers, and nothing about you or your hours.

• Stored: shifts, breaks, notes and jobs are kept on your device, in storage that only Hours Cat and its own widgets can read, so the widget and the Live Activity can show and update a running shift.
• Widget and Live Activity: updated on your device. They use no push notifications and no server.
• Forgot-to-stop reminder: a notification scheduled on your device, only if you say yes when the app offers it.

Your hours leave the app only when you tap one of these:

• Share PDF or Spreadsheet (CSV): the system share sheet sends the file to the app or person you choose.
• Print: the system print panel.
• Bill in Invoice Cat: passes the period's hours to Invoice Cat on the same device, through a folder that the Cat apps share. Nothing is uploaded, and old hand-off files are removed. If Invoice Cat isn't installed, nothing is sent.

Your pay rules, week start, worker name, reminder and widget colour are stored on your device.

Hours Cat Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.

If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
