Overview
This policy covers the Label Cat app, made by IYIO ("we", "our", or "us"). On the App Store, Label Cat's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
- No account: there's no sign-in and nothing to register.
- No analytics, tracking or ads: the app has no third-party SDKs.
- No networking: the app doesn't send your labels, lists or settings anywhere, and doesn't sync them to iCloud. They leave your device only when you choose to print or share them.
- No permissions: the app doesn't ask for your camera, photos, contacts, location or tracking.
Contacts: Only the Cards You Pick
To fill a mailing list from Contacts, Label Cat opens Apple's own contact picker. The app has no access to your contacts: only the cards you pick reach it. Each one becomes plain address lines (name, street, city) on your list, and nothing else from the card is kept.
Your Labels
- In: contacts you pick, a CSV file you choose in the Files picker, and Paste, which reads your clipboard only when you tap it.
- Stored: your designs, lists and, with Pro, saved address books are kept in the app's own storage on your device. You can delete each one.
- Printer offsets: your calibration for your printer is stored on your device.
- QR codes and barcodes (Pro): drawn and checked on your device.
Printing and Sharing
Your labels leave the app only when you tap one of these:
- Print: AirPrint sends the sheet to the printer you pick.
- Save or share PDF, and the test page: the system share sheet sends the PDF to the app or person you choose. The PDF carries your design's name and no app credit.
- Contact us: in About, opens your own mail app. Nothing is sent unless you send it.
Purchases
Label Cat Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.
Changes to This Policy
If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
