Why Linemark exists

What’s in Linemark

Free for 3 books, with page scans, reviews, reminders, iCloud sync and Markdown export.

  • Snap the pages you marked in a paper book. Linemark finds the highlighted lines and completes them to whole sentences instead of fragments, with the page number
  • Highlighter over the letters or drawn underneath, like a thick underline
  • Missed a line? Pick it yourself
  • Scan several pages with the document camera, or choose up to 10 photos
  • Spaced repetition (FSRS-5): each highlight comes back days later, then at longer gaps as you rate it
  • Today shows what’s due, about how long it takes, and the week ahead
  • One reminder a day at your time, only on days something is waiting
  • Find a book by title, author or ISBN, or scan the barcode on the back
  • Export a book’s highlights as Markdown, with page numbers and your notes, for any notes app
  • Sync through your own private iCloud, or keep it on this iPhone
  • Linemark Pro, one purchase, no subscription: unlimited books, Kindle import of the highlights and notes in your Kindle’s My Clippings.txt (English, Turkish, Spanish and Portuguese Kindles), crop diagrams and tables from a page, and export your whole library as Markdown
  • Pages are read on your iPhone. No ads, no tracking. Book search uses Open Library
  • For iPhone, iOS 18 or later
