Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Reading Log Cat app, made by IYIO ("we", "our", or "us"). On the App Store, Reading Log Cat's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

• No account: there's no sign-in and nothing to register.
• No analytics, tracking or ads: the app has no third-party SDKs.
• No networking: the app doesn't send your books, sessions, goals or name anywhere. There's no cover or ISBN lookup: books are what you type. The only request the app makes is to Apple's StoreKit, for Pro.
• No permissions: no camera, photos, contacts, location, microphone or tracking prompt.

• Your library: every book (title, author, page count, shelf), every reading session (day, pages, minutes) and your goals, stored in one file in the app's own storage on your device. It's part of your normal device backup, like any app's documents. Nothing syncs.
• A file the app can't read: or one saved by a newer version, is kept as a dated copy, never overwritten and never sent anywhere.
• Settings: the reader's name for the printable log and the last week or month you picked, kept in the app's own settings and read only by the app.

• Pro: an optional one-time in-app purchase through Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment, the app checks your purchase on your device, and we receive no purchase data.

Your books leave the app only when you tap one of these:

• Print: the reading log for a week or a month, with the reader's name, books, pages and minutes, sent with AirPrint to the printer you choose.
• Share PDF: the same log, sent with the system share sheet to the app or person you choose.
• Export CSV (Pro): every session, sent with the system share sheet to the app or person you choose.

About › Report a problem or Suggest an idea opens an email to [email protected] in your own mail app, with the app version, iOS version and device model filled in. It reaches us only if you send it.

Reading Log Cat Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.

If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
