Privacy Policy

Ticket Cat keeps your tickets, names, draws, vouchers, punch cards and customers on your iPhone or iPad. We don't collect any data from the app.

Overview

This policy covers the Ticket Cat app, made by IYIO ("we", "our", or "us"), and its three jobs: raffle and event tickets, gift vouchers and punch cards. On the App Store, Ticket Cat's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

  • No account: there's no sign-in, no server and nothing to register.
  • No analytics, tracking or ads: the app has no third-party SDKs.
  • No networking: the app doesn't send your tickets, lists, vouchers or cards anywhere. They leave your device only when you print or share them.

Tickets, Names, Draws and Check-ins

  • Books: each raffle or event, with its words, numbers, the list of names and phone numbers, the draws and the check-ins, is kept in the app's own storage on your device and in your own device backups. Nothing syncs. Deleting a book deletes its list, draws and check-ins.
  • Names and phone numbers: are typed in by you, or with Pro imported from a CSV file you pick. The app never reads your Contacts.
  • On the tickets: names print on stubs only while "Print names from your list" is on. Phone numbers never print on tickets. The names list PDF shows names, phone numbers and ticket numbers, and goes only where you print or share it.

Gift Vouchers and Punch Cards

  • Vouchers and cards: vouchers with their log and redemptions, and punch cards with their customers, stamps and rewards, are kept in the same storage on your device.
  • Business details: your business details and the voucher number series are saved in the app's settings, and your logo as a file on your device.
  • From another Cat app: if you say yes, gift vouchers can fill in your business details and logo from another Cat app on the same device. That goes through a shared folder on the device only; nothing is sent anywhere.

Photos and Camera

  • Your logo: picked with the system photo picker, which needs no photo-library permission and gives the app only the picture you pick. It's shrunk and saved on your device.
  • Door check-in (Pro): iOS asks for the camera only when you tap Scan tickets. The QR codes are read on your device, camera frames aren't saved, and only the ticket number and the time are recorded.
  • No other permissions: no microphone, location, contacts or photo-library access, and no tracking prompt.

Ticket Cat Pro

  • Pro: an optional one-time in-app purchase through Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment, the app checks your purchase on your device, and we receive no purchase data.

Printing and Sharing

Your tickets, lists, vouchers and cards leave the app only when you tap one of these:

  • Print: sent with AirPrint to the printer you choose.
  • Share: the tickets PDF, the names list PDF, a voucher PDF or picture, and with Pro the names list or the customers as a CSV, sent with the system share sheet to the app or person you choose.

Settings

The job you picked last, the paper size, the punch card sheets, the gift vouchers' business details and number series, and a count of your exports (used to ask for an App Store rating now and then) are stored on your device.

Feedback

About › Feedback opens an email to [email protected] in your own mail app, with the app version, iOS version and device model filled in. It reaches us only if you send it.

Purchases

Ticket Cat Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.

Changes to This Policy

If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
