Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Wheel Cat app, made by IYIO ("we", "our", or "us"). On the App Store, Wheel Cat's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

• No account: there's no sign-in, no server and nothing to register.
• No analytics, tracking or ads: the app has no third-party SDKs.
• No networking: the app sends no wheel, option or pick anywhere. It has no iCloud or push. The only request the app makes is to Apple's StoreKit, for Pro.
• No permissions: no camera, photos, contacts, location, microphone or tracking prompt. Printing and sharing use system panels that need no permission.

• Your wheels: every wheel (name, options, weights, colours, theme, remove after pick and what's set aside) and the pick history, stored in one file in the app's own storage on your device. The history keeps the latest 200 picks per wheel. It's part of your own device backups. Nothing syncs.
• A file the app can't read: or one saved by a newer version, is moved aside as a dated copy, never overwritten and never sent anywhere.
• The first wheel: "What's for dinner?" is written only on a first launch, when no file exists yet.
• Settings: only the Sounds switch, kept in the app's own settings and read only by the app.

The Last pick widget runs on your device and never reads your wheels file. With Pro, the app gives it one small file in a shared folder only Wheel Cat and its widget can open: one wheel's name, its slice colours and weights, and its latest pick. Without Pro, that file holds no wheel at all. Tapping the widget opens that wheel in Wheel Cat.

The tick and the chime are made in code on your device. There are no audio files and nothing is downloaded. The app only plays sound and never records, so it has no microphone access.

• Pro: an optional one-time in-app purchase through Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment, the app reads its own purchase on your device, and we receive no purchase data.

Your wheels leave the app only when you tap one of these:

• Print (Pro): the wheel drawn large, its options with weights and share of the wheel, and its last 12 picks, through the system print panel to your own printer. No app name is on the page.
• Share as PDF (Pro): the same page, sent with the system share sheet to wherever you send it.

About › Report a problem or Suggest an idea opens an email to [email protected] in your own mail app, with the app version, iOS version and device model filled in. It reaches us only if you send it. No wheel is attached.

Wheel Cat Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.

If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
