Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Ringtone Cat app, made by IYIO ("we", "our", or "us"). Ringtone Cat sends nothing to us.

• No account: there's no sign-in and nothing to register.
• No analytics, tracking or ads: the app has no third-party SDKs.
• No server of ours: the app has no networking of its own. The only network calls are Apple's StoreKit, for Pro and Restore.

• Only what you pick: a file you choose in Files, a video you choose in the Photos picker, or a file another app hands over with "Open in Ringtone Cat". The Photos picker runs outside the app, so the app has no access to your library.
• Never browsed: the app doesn't look through your music library or your Photos.
• Protected tracks: a file with copy protection is turned down before anything reads it, and its copy is deleted.

• Imports: a working copy in the app's own storage, cleared after a tone is made, when a new sound replaces it, and when the app starts.
• Your tones: the tones you make and their names and lengths, in the app's own storage. A deleted tone waits until the next launch, so Undo can bring it back.
• Draft: the sound and the cut you are working on, so your work comes back after the app closes.
• Saved projects (Pro): the sound, the cut, the sound tools and the names.
• Settings: only the app's appearance setting.
• Backups: like any app data, these go into your own device backups.
• Free space: before importing or making a tone, the app checks there is room on your iPhone, so a full iPhone gets a clear message instead of a half-written tone.

• Share and Save to Files: a tone goes wherever you send it. Where it goes is your choice; the app sends nothing itself.
• Pro: StoreKit talks to Apple for the purchase and Restore.

None. Ringtone Cat asks for no microphone, music library, Photos, contacts or tracking permission.

Ringtone Cat can't set your ringtone itself. It makes the file; you set it with Share (Use as Ringtone on iOS 27) or with the steps in the app's guide.

• Pro: an optional one-time in-app purchase through Apple's StoreKit, for volume boost and EQ, loops, batch export and saved projects. Apple processes the payment, the app reads its own purchase on your device, and we receive no purchase data.

Ringtone Cat Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.

If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
