Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Sweep Cat app, made by IYIO ("we", "our", or "us"). On the App Store, Sweep Cat's privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

• No account: there's no sign-in, no server and nothing to register.
• No analytics, tracking or ads: the app has no third-party SDKs.
• No networking: the app sends no photo, video, scan result or setting anywhere. It has no iCloud sync or push. The only request the app makes is to Apple's StoreKit, for Pro.

• Access: iOS asks before Sweep Cat can see your photo library. Full or limited access both work; with limited access it sees only the photos you picked.
• Checked on your device: the scan reads small thumbnails and each item's date, place, size and kind on your device. The likeness, sharpness and keeper checks run on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
• iCloud: photos kept only in iCloud are never downloaded and are left alone.
• Scan notes: a small file in the app's own storage remembers what the last scan found, so the next one skips photos that didn't change. It holds no photos and is never sent anywhere.

The bin only collects. Emptying it is one request to Photos, and iOS asks you to confirm before anything is removed. Deleted items go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app, where Photos keeps them for 30 days, as with any delete.

• Settings: the reminder and screenshot rule switches, the screenshots you took back out of the rule, and the date of your last sweep, kept in the app's own settings and read only by the app.
• Reminder (Pro): a local notification scheduled on your device. iOS asks for permission first. It goes through no server.
• Widget (Pro): the app writes a small file only Sweep Cat and its widget can read: whether Pro is on, how many items are in the bin, their size, and about how much the piles hold. No photos and no identifiers.
• Shrink videos and Live Photos to stills (Pro): save a new item to your library on your device, with the same date and place, and put the original in the bin for you to empty.

• Pro: an optional one-time in-app purchase through Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment, the app reads its own purchase on your device, and we receive no purchase data.

About › Report a problem or Suggest an idea opens an email to [email protected] in your own mail app, with the app version, iOS version and device model filled in. No photo is attached. It reaches us only if you send it.

Sweep Cat Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.

If the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
